This past Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing the Harambee festival. The festival was filled with food, fun for the kids, wonderful speakers, and great music. Everyone there really enjoyed  every bit of it and I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite pictures from the evening. I just want to thank Marques Houston for being here to rock out with these wonderful people. The concert was fantastic. 

Who is always taking pictures of you and your brothers and sisters during sport events, at disney world, a trip to the beach, Mom. Who is forever left out of all those memories .... Mom. Moms have one of the hardest jobs in the world and they continue to be left out of the captured memories. 

This year would be a great year to purchase a family styled session for mom! With options of a short 30 minute session or a full hour session with multiple location options we will be able to set up a memorable time to capture the best moments! 

What a treat it was to photograph the Cooley Library Luncheon for the second year in a row. I continue to remember many summers spent at the library reading my way through all the Judy Bloom books I could get my hands on. I am so happy I can give back to such a wonderful cause. The Library Luncheon was held at Marion and Kate Barnes Home and that was a treat in and of itself!

LouReda's is the hottest new restaurant in Rocky Mount, NC and opened their doors for business today! I am so blessed to have been able to spend a bit of time with Lou Reda and his staff the last week and a half. I photographed some super yummy food (and of course taste tested with no hesitation) and then was invited to their friends and family night to try out a few menu options and experience the very friendly atmosphere!
